I love the festivity and joy that is present during this season! It’s such a special way to help my kids learn to be respectful of others’ beliefs while feeling confident in their own by learning about other celebrations around the globe.

I love working with a designer each year to put together an easy, fun, meaningful advent activity that doesn’t require putting together a bunch of little gifts. This winter holidays around the world advent has 24 simple prompts to learn about other winter holidays and traditions around the world – it’s the perfect easy holiday activity for kids!

FREE Winter Holidays Printable Advent: 2024 London Theme

This year, I worked with Kai-Lee Ann Morrill to create this absolutely stunning printable for families with a London at Christmas theme! Since moving here a little over a year ago, we’ve been completely charmed by the gorgeous decorations and festive atmosphere during this time of year, so I thought it would be so fun to bring that to life in the printable. There are so many beautiful details, from iconic landmarks and transport to festive overlays (including the Regent Street angel lights!). I love it so much.

Each day includes a brief prompt to learn about a winter holiday from around the world. There are 13 different holidays represented from various cultures and faith traditions, and the very short prompts are perfect for families to experience the diversity of celebrations during this time of year.

The best part is that it’s completely FREE – great for printing large and hanging in your home, multiple smaller copies for different kids, or sharing with a friend, teacher, or neighbor.
