A few days ago, I shared some of my favorite products from the year – it’s always fun thinking about what has really served me and our family over the year and gotten repeated use. Then I always love digging into what has been really popular for YOU – it’s so fun to see what recommendations have resonated with and helped your families.

Here were the most popular purchases from the LPF community in 2024!

25. Portable Car Battery Jump Starter + Power Bank

We love this portable car battery jump starter and power bank – I think it’s an absolute car safety must. Great gift for hard-to-buy-for people on your list, too!

24. Splendor

So happy my favorite game made the list, just barely! It’s seriously so fun and almost always the one we choose when anyone 8 and up is playing. So fun.

23. ZipChip

I got this tiny frisbee for my eldest a few years ago, and he and his friends loved it. It got lost eventually, so I replaced it for him and added one to my 10 year old’s stocking this year, as well. It made last year’s most popular items list, too!

22. Wikki Stix

These might be my very favorite quiet little activity to take along when traveling or for church – they make no mess, are silent, and great for a huge variety of ages. Plus, they’re cheap! I got a big box of them to split between my kids in their stockings this year.

21. Amazon Basics Seat Belt Cutter

I shared this handy device about a month ago and it’s been so popular! It’s a seat belt cutter and window breaker to keep in your car for an emergency, and I think it’s a safety must to have on hand. This one is inexpensive and would make a great stocking stuffer or neighbor gift.

20. Bubblebum Inflatable Booster

We love this portable booster seat for travel and you all do, too!

19. Century Star Socks

I’m honestly surprised these socks aren’t a lower number on the list since they were the MOST popular product in all of November and so far in December. But I suppose I didn’t start sharing them until this fall, so I imagine they’ll bump up higher next year! I’ve loved these cozy, super affordable wool socks – warm, stretchy, and so comfy – I actually prefer them to my name brand ones. Plus, they only cost between $3-5 per pair depending on the pattern – a steal!

18. Naturium The Glow Getter

This has been my very favorite body wash the last couple years, especially in winter, and it seems you all agree! It’s an oil to lather formula and is soooo luxurious and it keeps my skin from drying out in cold weather. There’s a little travel sized one now, too!

17. Car Seat Luggage Strap

A perennial, super helpful hack for attaching a car seat to a rolling suitcase. Cheap, quick, and takes almost no space. The best!

16. AirFly Bluetooth Transmitter

You all always lose your minds over this handy little item every time I share – it’s a tiny device that you plug into the headphone jack on an airplane and it allows you to use your own Bluetooth headphones/earbuds instead of the wired cheap ones they give you on the plane. It’s SO much more comfortable, and also great if you’re holding a lap infant or helping kids or just generally enjoy not getting tangled in wires while sleeping on the plane.

15. Dime Blue Facial Oil (Discount Code LOCALPASSPORTFAMILY)

Another absolute staple of mine this year! The best for home and especially when traveling when I’m more prone to blemishes. It’s truly like magic, and my 14 year old has started using it for some teen acne, as well.

14. Multi-Tool Pen

This multi-tool pen is always popular – I always expect it to be in your top favorites! I first gave it to Dan probably 5ish years ago, and added it to my two older boys’ stockings this year (here’s the full list of everything we’re actually giving our kids for Christmas this year).

13. Qwixx Dice Game

This fun, quick little game is a great one for a quick play at home or to take along on a trip. We have the dice version and it’s so fun! Fast to play and super affordable – perfect for a stocking stuffer. I’m glad so many of you have added it to your family’s game rotation!

12. Athleta Pants

I’ve talked about these pants incessantly so I’m glad you all have listened, lol. They’re my very favorite travel pants – lightweight, pack up small, dry fast, dress up or down, super comfy with a wide elastic waistband. Full review HERE.

11. Boba Air

You all have been fans of my favorite lightweight travel baby carrier! It packs up so small when not in use, only weighs about a pound, and dries in a flash (perfect for water or hot areas. Love it so much, and it’s really affordable for a carrier, too. Also great for toddlers who want to walk some since it easily packs away. It’s the only carrier we have left now!

10. Crude Oil Cleanser (Discount Code LOCALPASSPORTFAMILY)

My very favorite oil cleanser made the list again this year! Keeps my skin so clear and keeps it from drying out. Have used it for 3ish years and still obsessed with it, and I love hearing from you all how much it’s helped your skin, too.

9. Human Body Activity Book for Kids

This might have been the most surprising item on this entire list! I haven’t shared this activity book much this year but it’s one we’ve loved for over 5 years and I’ve mentioned once or twice on Instagram and included in this educational activity books for kids blog post. It’s a great one that’s really affordable and one that I think I need to repurchase for a couple of my younger kiddos now! Would be great for a trip or to roll up into a stocking.

8. Teach Your Child to Read

I’ve used this book to teach 5 of my kiddos to read (baby S isn’t quite there yet ;)) and it’s the best. It’s one of my most frequent link requests, and I’ve gotten so many wonderful responses from you all who’ve had success with it, too. I’m so glad it’s helping your families!

7. LCD Writing Tablet

We take at least one of these drawing boards with us literally every time we travel, and it’s the best cheap, easy to carry entertainment for plane/car rides, restaurants, lines at Disneyland, etc. So fun to draw, so easy to erase (or save!) and draw again. They’re the very best and are so affordable. Perfect stocking stuffer!

6. Beddy’s Zipper Bedding (Discount Code PASSPORT)

We’ve loved this zip up bedding for years and it’s one of my biggest moving regrets that we didn’t bring it with us to London. It makes it so easy for kids to make the bed and was perfect in our RV, too. I’m glad you all have loved it, too!

5. Geometry Towels (Discount Code PreethiH15)

I was delighted to see these towels on the list because they’ve been some of my favorite items this year, as well! I’ve talked about them incessantly because I finally tried them after hearing about them for ages and loved them just as much as everyone said I would. And you all have loved them, too! I’ve gotten SO many messages from you all that you never thought you’d care so much about kitchen towels but that you’re obsessed with these, and that the bathroom towels, bath towels, dinner napkins, and more are equally amazing. It’s fun to see those messages validated with numbers!

4. Super Affordable & Great Quality Colored Pencils

For years, I purchased the Prismacolor colored pencils when they were on sale because they’re just such great quality – so smooth and beautiful colors. But I’d still hyperventilate a bit every time I purchased them because they’re so darn pricey!

This year, I tried out this set of colored pencils and WOW. They’re allllmost as fantastic, but at an absolute fraction of the price. Turns out the tens of thousands of excellent reviews weren’t wrong. I love them, my kids love them, they last long and have gorgeous saturation and write so well and don’t break. We’ve purchased them for ourselves and gifted them and they’ve been the best.

3. Cosco Scenera Next Travel Car Seat

Not the most exciting 3rd place item, but a super functional one that we’ve loved and used for years. This is my favorite car seat for travel after kids outgrow an infant seat until they’re big enough to use this booster vest (code PASSPORT) – for my kids, that’s usually around 3.5-4 years. It’s super affordable and crazy lightweight – I easily hook it onto my backpack with a couple carabiners when I don’t have a rolling suitcase with me to attach it to with this luggage strap.

2. Hex Huggies (Discount Code PREETHI)

Second place came in by a wiiiide margin – and I’m delighted because it’s one of my very faves that made the top of my personal list this year. I’ve worn these hexagon huggie earrings absolutely nonstop this year – I’m pretty sure they’ve gone along on every single trip, have swum in the ocean and taken countless showers, and I only know they’re still there when I touch them to confirm since I can’t feel them at all, they’re so comfortable.

Hey June huggie styles in general are my very favorite because they’re so darn comfortable. Aside from the hex huggies, I also love the rectangles, these adorable bow huggies (which were another of your top favorites), and these chunky huggies.

You can use the code PREETHI for a discount on your order.

1. Mini White Noise Machine

By FAR and away the most popular item this year has been a tiny white noise machine – and I can’t blame you, as this was also one of my favorites of the year, too! Especially if you combine the numbers for the two different ones I’ve shared, they blow every other item out of the water as far as popularity numbers go. But even looking at each of them individually, they would still be numbers 1 & 2 on the list!

I originally purchased this one, and we use & love two of them daily. They’re terrific. Fantastic sound quality and battery life, and both have come on every single trip with us this year.

More recently, we purchased two more of this kind. It’s also excellent and also tiny! It’s even cheaper than the other one (though they’re both really affordable) and is currently 2 for the price of one on several colors. I ever so slightly prefer the sound quality on the first one, but you can’t beat the price on the second. You cannot go wrong with either one, and they’d make a great stocking stuffer – for a traveler or not (we use ours every single night at home!).
