I love letting my have some independence in the kitchen after lots of joint practice. I find it also helps if they have a few kid-friendly tools. Especially with cutting, it’s nice to have a knife that works with their hand size.
We’ve loved this mini chef’s knife – it’s lightweight but cuts well, inexpensive, and has been great for our kids!
