Play: Hit the Penny (Source)
What You Need: 2-3 foot long stick, pennies, piece of chalk
How to Play:
- Bury the bottom of the stick in the ground so that it is standing upright.
- Draw a circle around the stick about 3 feet in diameter.
- Place a penny on top of the stick.
- Give each player a penny. Players take turns throwing their penny at the stick to try to knock of the penny on top of the stick. Players earn a point if they knock the penny out of the circle, but do not earn points if the penny falls within the circle.
