We’ve loved doing a few puzzles over winter break! Here are the ones we did.
62 National Parks Puzzle
I gave this puzzle to Dan in his Easter basket months ago but we hadn’t had a chance to do it together. It was so fun working on it as a family while watching Christmas movies. The sides were complex since they were all VERY similar (and some fit perfectly on one side so you wouldn’t know it was wrong), but there are letters on the back to double check you have the correct ones in place.
This one was released before the 63rd National Park was made official in 2021.
Rifle Paper Company Nutcracker Tree Puzzle
For only being a 500-piece puzzle, this Nutcracker Tree one felt more complex – mostly due to not having any straight edges to start with. But it’s just SO darn pretty with the gold foil and the end result is so lovely. We don’t often keep puzzles, but I think we’ll hang onto this one and put it with our Christmas stuff to pull out each year. It would be a great activity for Christmas Eve or Day!
I also really love the Rockefeller tree & ice skating rink puzzle. And I think I’ll grab the holiday scene one with Santa that’s currently on sale!
Little Park Ranger 500 Piece Puzzle
My sister and brother-in-law gave this puzzle to the kids and it’s so fun. I love the vibrant colors and it’s simple enough that younger kids can work on it, too. We loved doing this one on Christmas Day.
