I’m getting so excited to head off on this absolute bucket list trip. I’ve wanted to visit Egypt for as long as I can remember and I’m just over the moon that it’s finally here. Clothing is NOT something I want to be fiddling with or thinking a lot about while there, so I’m prepping with outfits that are comfortable, versatile, and modest enough that I can visit churches and mosques without changing, too.
What Bottoms To Pack for Egypt?
I’m planning to take 4 pairs of bottoms for our 2.5 week trip, which should be plenty. I’ll also be packing along one dress. Here are the bottoms I’m planning to take:
- Olive cropped pants
- Navy pants (more about my undying love for them HERE)
- Light blue button down floral midi skirt (old, similar HERE, HERE, and HERE)
- Charcoal/sage lightweight skirt with zippered pockets
- Button down tie waist navy dress
What Tops To Pack for Egypt
Along with those 4 pairs of bottoms, I’m planning to take 4 tops. Ideally, I love when each of my tops goes with each of my bottoms. That means that I can create 16 outfits out of those 8 pieces, instead of just 4 outfits out of 8 pieces if each top only when with one pair of bottoms.
That said, sometimes it doesn’t work for every item to go together, so I’m generally happy if each top can go with at least 3 pairs of bottoms.
Here are the ones I’m considering:
- Coral floral v-neck button front top (old, similar HERE)
- Athleta short-sleeved breathable tee (sold out in white, but Athleta has several other white tees) (similar HERE and HERE)
- Long-sleeved striped top (similar HERE, HERE, and HERE)
- Short-sleeved navy & white striped tee (similar HERE)
- Gray fitted scoop neck henley
- Mustard striped tee (old, similar HERE and HERE)
- Hot pink puff sleeve top (old, similar HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE)
- Lemon print top (old, similar HERE and HERE)
- V-neck cream striped button front top (old, similar HERE and HERE)
- Green eyelet button front top (old, similar HERE, HERE, and HERE)
I’ll also be taking these shoes and these socks, along with this pair of sandals.
I’d love to hear which tops you think I should take that make the most sense, as well as any favorite packing items you have that you can rely on!
