What I'm ACTUALLY Giving My Husband for Christmas 2024

I always love getting Dan’s Christmas gifts sorted early! It’s so nice to have everything organized down to the stocking stuffers – we even started wrapping and are hoping to finish it off so we can relax and enjoy the beauty of the season. Here’s what I’m actually giving my husband for Christmas 2024 if you’re looking for some ideas!

The 12 Daytes of Christmas

I did 6 months of dates for Dan last year and it was the absolute best – it was so nice to have some things in the calendar to enjoy together. I decided to do it again this year!

Dan really loves going to the theatre, so I made it pretty theatre-focused again. And I planned all the dates in the first half of the year – it’s hard to commit to days more than 6 months out and I wanted to make sure we get them in before schedules change!

Wood Carving Kit + Personalized Leather Tool Storage Bag

Dan has always really loved woodworking, but hasn’t done it for years, and hasn’t had a full set of tools. He was so excited the other day to hear of a friend who enjoys woodworking as a hobby, so I thought it would be perfect to get him a wood carving set to practice a bit, including with his friend. This leather roll bag is also gorgeous and perfect for storing his tools so they’re not everywhere, ha. I had it personalized and it’s really lovely.

Camping Travel Pillow

I’m really fantastic at sleeping on planes. Dan is not as good, lol. This little pillow has terrific reviews and folds up so small. I’m hoping it’s helpful for him on our travels, whether on planes or camping!

LED Frisbee

Our eldest has an LED football and basketball, and it’s so fun for him to play with friends. Dan loves throwing a frisbee with the kids or friends, and I think he’ll have a great time with this wildly popular one – especially since it gets dark so early here in winter.

What I’m Putting In My Husband’s Stocking

Here’s what’s going in my husband’s stocking in 2024:

Resqme – this tiny window breaker and seat belt cutter is itty bitty and perfect to keep on his keys even when we travel
Aerobie mini disc – evidently it’s the Christmas of frisbees! Dan is getting one, like our boys, except his is his favorite brand. (I found a single pack.)
Inexpensive but warm & cozy men’s wool socks – everyone needed new warm socks!
Bananagrams – can’t believe we don’t have this game and it’s perfect for taking on the go when we travel

FAMILY GIFTS

Family Gift: Family Trip

This will be the main, final gift we share. We’re so excited to share the trip we’ve planned for the whole family with our kids on Christmas morning – they have no idea it’s coming and we’re just as excited for it as we know they will be!

We’re going to include some rechargeable hand warmers for each person, as a clue for the place we’re going. They’ve asked for them a few times but they haven’t really been needed. But we’re going somewhere COLD so I think they’ll be great to have on hand. THESE are the ones we got because they’re powerful with great reviews (we’re splitting the 2-packs and giving them each one).

Family Gift: Klask Family Game

It’s always nice having a new family game to enjoy together during the winter break, and I’ve heard absolute rave reviews of this one. I think it’ll be a blast for our whole family!

Family Gift: Cotton Candy Machine

Very occasionally, I am a fun mom. I’m going to surprise the kids AND Dan with a mini cotton candy machine – they’re all way more into sweets than I am, and will think this is the absolute best thing ever. I’m hoping it makes for some fun birthday parties, too! (I didn’t get this exact one as it’s not available in the UK, but I wish it were because it’s way cuter than the basic one I got, and about the same price!)

Family Gift: Sparkle Maple Syrup

I’ve thought this sparkly gold maple syrup has looked so fun for a couple years now. I finally decided to get a bottle and will stick it on the table to go with our Christmas morning breakfast. I think my kids will be absolutely delighted by it. It would also be really fun to stick in a stocking!

Familiy Gift: Christmas Pajamas

Dan got his Christmas pajamas with the rest of us at the end of November, and they’re the best. They’re super cozy & comfy. I love the classic red plaid, and the flannel is so soft. We got ours in London, but these are very similar and also a fantastic price.
